Cassandra brings 20 years experience as an instructor and facilitator to the mat. After receiving a Bachelors Degree in Creative Industries and multiple formal dance instructors qualifications, Cas taught dance in Australia, America and the UK. During this chapter she also worked as a Nanny, and for Charities supporting Children through movement. Her passion was fuelled through seeing art as a tool for connecting, play and learning, valuing the neurological importance of bringing safety, autonomy and joy into children's lives.
Following this chapter, Cassandra opened her own dance school in Australia. It was during this time her love of yoga and holding space for all ages was truely born. Cassandra fostered a beautiful community environment for families, and shared creativity, body empowerment, and joy of movement with all.
Cassandra had her own family around covid era, and happily sold her blossoming school to a staff member and friend who still runs it to this day.
She became deeply passionate about the mind body connection during the early years of motherhood. As life changed, Cassandra was able to become involved in charity and activism once more, and witnessed the devastating effects of trauma in humans, and indeed human bodies. With her prior knowledge, she was able to use her skills and grow them into something new.
Now with two certifications in Yoga as Lifestyle Medicine, Yoga therapist and ongoing study into the science of psychology, Cassandra adores supporting others on the journey to awareness and liberation. Her most recent studies and qualifications include; bottom up therapy, gut brain health, nutritional psychiatry, EFT, womens cyclical yoga, music yoga therapy, Kundalini, Ayurveda and Psychosomatic, breath work, and somatic therapy. Cassandra continues further study with Biyome as an ongoing passion, attends weekly Sangha with her loved long term teacher, and trains in inversions, aerials and silks with her sons. She is also currently completing Art Therapy, Movement Therapy and Naturopathy training. What a joy to always be learning. In the role of a teacher Cassandra deeply values and respects the practice of continual growth as a part of what a teacher can endlessly share with students.
As a mother to two young boys Cas is invigorated by this journey too, keeping her life busy and heart very full.
With such joy in connecting with others, Cassandra hopes to ignite an individuals own self empowerment and enthusiasm through yoga and movement, and one that radiates into all parts of life.

Combo class - Zumba, Pilates, & Yoga . Divided equally, 20 minutes of each.
Three parts for wholistic, happy health. Shake things up with Zumba; the most fun cardio around. Followed with invigorating, challenging pilates. Lastly, ease entirely into yoga and meditation. Our Nundah class is held in an air-conditioned disco, making this class feel like a fun night out with friends.
Somatics After experiencing and witnessing how liberating yoga, and yoga therapy, is for all bodies holding accumulative stress, Cassandra became passionate about how essential and transformative this experience can be for someone who has experienced catastrophic trauma. This is true too for all of us, simply from the typical accumulations of day to day life. Breath after stress - a deep, clear, long breath - is powerful and reachable. Somatic classes, and Somatic Therapy, in small groups, or one on one is available throughout the week. We also frequently interweave Somatic with Charity. Our most regular charity of choice is A21. You can read more about A21 and what they are doing here --

We are born into bodies that are fluid and free. Yet for most this state of grace is short lived. Muscles and bones carry burdens and stress leaving us with shoulders that sag, hips that are locked, arms that can't reach out, and hearts behind walls. When we move, we shake up firmly rooted habits of thought and behaviour. Rhythm, breath, music and movement become tools to see, and free energy.
